I am Martine, a Dutch teacher with over 15 years of experience. I help expats and international learners feel confident using Dutch in everyday life.
After various studies and roles, I eventually found the profession that truly suits me.
In 2009, I obtained my certification as a qualified teacher of Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) at the University of Amsterdam.
I have now been teaching private and group Dutch lessons to non-native speakers with great pleasure for more than fifteen years.
A significant part of my professional background is the five years of experience I gained within the ‘Blik op Werk’ quality mark.
These high quality standards still form the foundation of every lesson at Tijd voor Taal in Utrecht.
During my work at various language schools, I discovered that large groups hinder progress due to a lack of personal attention.
That is why I started my own language school, fully focused on small groups of a maximum of four students. From my home base in the Utrecht region, I offer these personal Dutch language trainings for students from across the entire province of Utrecht.
